Porque simplesmente deixou de ser engraçado.

Com certeza que podem pensar que este jogo do Instagram é realmente tudo acerca dos seguidores, dos likes, de ter um número enorme naquele separadorzinho no vosso perfil, mas o que realmente acerta no alvo é: é tudo uma uma gigantesca mentira.

Uma mentira, porque vocês não se vão tornar naquele fotógrafo famoso como pensam que vão, a perder tempo no Instagram, a usar bots, a seguir pessoas só para aumentar o raio do número e a deixar de seguir os que deixam de te seguir a ti. Esqueçam amigos, não vão.

Eu cansei-me de jogar esse jogo, só quero ser feliz com a fotografia, aprender com os melhores, e ajudar qualquer um que me peça ajuda para crescer da mesma maneira que quero crescer com eles.

Por isso, desta vez, eu vou partilhar as fotografias que eu quero partilhar, quando eu quero partilhar, sem o raio das borders brancas (o Instragram não é o vosso portfolio, desculpem dizer-vos isto), há hora que eu quero partilhar, preocupar-me só em partilhar as fotos nas melhores hashtags e voltar a ser feliz a partilhar as minhas fotografias outra vez.

Devemos todos tirar algum tempo para pensar um bocado acerca disto e refletir sobre o "like" que estamos a ter agora no nosso posts.

Acreditem, é provavelmente uma mentira meus amigos.











Estas fotos foram tiradas na festa de Santa Ana em Oliveira São Mateus, Portugal.
Não sei se por causa das minhas raízes ou porque conseguimos encontrar todo o tipo de pessoas e vivências nestes eventos destas pequenas vilas mas adoro documentar estes momentos.

Because it just wasn't funny anymore.

For sure you may think that this Instagram game is really just about the followers, the likes, the huge number in the followers tab of your profile, but what really hits the nail in the head is: that’s a freaking lie.

A lie, because you are not going to became the famous photographer you think you are, spending time, botting, following people just for the damn number, and unfollowing those who unfollow you. Forget it my friend, you are not.

And i get tired of playing that game, and i just want to be happy with photography, learn with the best, and help anyone who ask me to grow, the same way i want to grow with them.

So, this time, i will share the pictures i want to share, when i want to share and without the freaking white board shenanigans (your instagram profile are not your portfolio, sorry to say this), at the time i want to share, i only be worried to be showcased in the best tags, and be happy with sharing my pictures again.

We should all take the time to think about this and reflect about the “like” you are getting right now. It’s probably, a lie my friends.

Maybe because of my roots, or  because you can find all kind of people in this small villages and fairs, i know i love to document this events.
